MISSION
At Blossom Childcare & Learning Center we strive to provide a setting that is warm and nurturing, yet structured and attuned to individual needs. Our proactive and dedicated staff offers programs designed for the successful participation of each child. We accommodate all of your children on one campus. Our program is based on the premise that children learn through play. Therefore we provide: A well-organized space that children can use independently. Individualized care in a warm and nurturing environment. A curriculum that is exciting, challenging and diverse. A professional, educated and creative staff to work with your children. Activities geared to the developmental level and interests of your child. Open communication with parents, coordinating home, school and center care. An atmosphere where children learn to love and value themselves and respect one another.
FACILITY
We are housed on 2.5 acres bordered by Connelly Creek nature trail and nine acres of open farm land, including Joe's Garden. We believe the outdoors is a natural extension of the classroom; therefore we offer a 700 sq.ft. covered play area and lots of open space for exercise, fresh air, and imaginative play. Our spacious centers feature vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. Every child, infant through school age, enjoys a classroom designed to meet his or her creative and developmental needs. We are inspected regularly to ensure that we meet Washington State health and safety requirements. Our Center is accessible to persons with disabilities. Our Early Learning Center, located at 2945 Douglas Ave., provides infant, toddler, transition preschool, preschool, pre-kindergarten and before school programs. A separate play area specifically designed for infants and toddlers will ensure safe exploration for small children. Our school age site, The Sunflower House, is located at 2900 Taylor Ave., approximately 75ft. behind the Early Learning Center. This site offers private kindergarten, public school kindergarten enrichment, after school, school closure and summer programs.
